In Year 1, students learn the basics of creating a 10 minute one-act play. They write monologues and dialogues to explore the possibilities of storytelling on a theatre stage with live actors.
SCREENPLAY AND DOCUMENTARY SCRIPT
In Year 3, our students learn how to write short film screenplays or documentary scripts. These scripts are their first steps into telling stories in an audio-visual medium, where the script exists for a director and film production crew to use during the film-making process.
STORY PODCAST SCRIPT
In Year 4, students continue to build on their narrative writing skills with this introduction to audio storytelling and story podcast scriptwriting. Our emerging writers learn to create and layer sound effects to build soundscapes, and to use narration and dialogue to stretch their storytelling skills in new directions.
